>A plea for the Love of God’s word

>Psalm 119:97-120

119:97 O how I love your law!

All day long I meditate on it.
119:98 Your commandments make me wiser than my enemies,
for I am always aware of them.

Oh to know the depths of God’s word. There are so many books published and various means of obtaining access to scripture. Yet it seems that there is a disconnect. Somewhere in the study we seem to forget that the arrival of all proper study, whether its the PhD or the brother on the bus stop, the sista running the bank or the brotha who is the lawyer, the folks from down south or in the big cities.

The conclusion of proper study is He himself.

God is the arrival of the text he is both the word and the author of it. The one who provides all insight and the one who secures it until He redeems us. The one who you hold when you embrace and yet embraces you at the same time. He is the only one who will give you proper application of it and then reconcile you to embracing His applying in your life.

Oh how I love your commandments God. Because in our meditation of it we find you. Over and over again.
