I have not heard this in years until the Pastor Emeritus’ wife recited it yesterday at the Scholarship Banquet. Never the less it was a good reminder for all of us this morning. Hold to Truth is at a crossroads asking for clarity in the decision and an extension of the kind of grace that avoids pitfalls down the road. Perhaps you were, are, or will be in that position some time in the future. I am not Scottish (although I like the accent, If I could preach in the tone of Alistair Begg in the hood I might actually replay my own sermons)
Keep this in mind:
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
